Job SummaryUniversity Hospitals is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.Responsibilities

• Deliver effective and compassionate patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, fostering a culture of respect and open communication.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies, applying evidence-based knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in patient care.Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in Ohio or eligibility for compact licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications may be required based on clinical area standards.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform other physical demands of the role.What We Offer
