Job OpportunityWe are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our Surgical House/Trauma team at Elyria Medical Center. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care and be able to work rotating Day/Night, weekends, and holidays.Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective care plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care.
• Order and perform diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.Requirements:
  • Demonstrated competence as a practitioner.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a variety of technical patient care devices.
  • Proficiency in computers and selected office equipment.Education and Expertise:
    • Nurse Practitioner: Nursing Doctorate or Master of Science in Nursing with emphasis on clinical practice.
    • Physician Assistant: Completion of a formal Physician Assistant training from an accredited program with NCCPA certification.
    • CNS with prescriptive authority.Required Credentials and Licensure:
      • Nurse Practitioner: BLS required; ACLS preferred; Current Registered Nurse license to practice in Ohio; Current APRN license to practice in Ohio.
      • Physician Assistant: BLS required; ACLS preferred; NCCPA-Certified; DEA license.
