Job Description:
A company is looking for an Outpatient Expert - Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of coding auditors reviewing outpatient claims for
appropriate coding and reimbursement
Establish quality assurance processes and provide feedback to the
audit team
Participate in client calls and represent the program on outpatient
coding expertise
Required Qualifications
CCS-P, CPC, or CCS certification required
RHIT certification preferred
10+ years of experience in outpatient auditing/coding
Expert knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
guidelines
3-5 years of supervisory experience in a coding environment
